Prashna astrology — using the stars to inform major life decisions
Prashna is the Vedic art of answering specific questions — not from a generic personality profile but from the planetary state at the exact moment the question arises. Combined with your natal chart, it gives targeted insight into whether a specific action is supported by the current planetary environment for you personally.
The 14 decision questions above are answered from your own kundli — whether now is the right time for a specific action, and what the chart says about the likely outcome of that choice.

Decision astrology — common questions
What is Prashna astrology?+
Prashna (literally 'question' in Sanskrit) is the Vedic branch of horary astrology — answering a specific question using the chart of the moment the question is sincerely asked. A Prashna chart is cast for the exact time and place the question arises, and the planetary positions at that moment are read to answer the question. This is separate from natal astrology: even without an accurate birth time, Prashna can give clear yes/no guidance and timing for specific decisions. The tool here combines both natal chart signals and the timing layer.
How does astrology answer 'should I accept this job offer?'+
For a job offer decision, the natal chart checks: (1) is the current daśā supportive of career growth (10th lord, 6th lord or Ātmakāraka running); (2) are any planets transiting adversely over the natal 10th or 6th house right now; (3) is the Moon in a favourable position on the day of decision. The specific terms of the offer are also considered — salary (2nd house), location (4th or 12th house for abroad), growth potential (11th house). A favourable daśā + positive transit confirmation = go for it.
Can astrology tell me if I should invest right now?+
Investment timing is read from: (1) Jupiter's transit position (Jupiter transiting your 2nd, 5th or 11th house from the Moon is generally expansive for investments); (2) the running daśā — a 5th lord (speculative gains) or 11th lord (income) daśā supports investment; (3) an adverse Saturn or Rāhu transit over the 2nd or 12th suggests caution. The tool checks your current dasha-transit combination and gives a window assessment for your chart specifically.
How does astrology help with a decision about ending a relationship?+
A relationship ending decision is complex and always personal. Astrology helps by showing: is the current daśā activating the 7th house (relationship area) and what is the nature of that activation; are Rāhu or Saturn currently transiting the 7th house or 7th lord causing forced re-evaluation; is there a 6th house period running (conflict with others) or a 12th house period (separation)? The chart doesn't make the decision — it shows what the current planetary environment supports and what the natal chart promise says about this relationship's long-term potential.
Should I change career right now?+
A career change is supported when: (1) a new Mahadasha or Antardasha is starting that belongs to a different planet than the current career's ruler; (2) Saturn is transiting over the 10th house (forcing reassessment) or Jupiter is opening new domains; (3) the 10th lord in the natal chart is strong in a domain different from the current career. Running a Rāhu or Jupiter daśā in a significantly different domain from your current work often signals readiness for a pivot.
