The structural difference: fixed document vs live engine
A generated report has to decide, in advance, what you will want to know. That means every section is written to a template and filled from your placements — which is exactly the per-placement problem again, only longer. Length is not depth; a hundred pages assembled from single-placement paragraphs is still single-placement reasoning, repeated a hundred times.
A live engine can be asked. When you read that your 7th lord is in the 12th and want to know whether that means a distant marriage or a foreign spouse or simply a private one, you can put that question to the chart and get an answer that weighs the Navāṁśa, the Upapada, Venus, the Darakāraka and the running daśā together. The PDF cannot do that, because it was finished before you had the question.
Time is the other axis. Your daśā changes. A report bought in 2024 describes a period that has since ended; the chart has not changed but the live reading of it has. An engine re-reads; a PDF ages.

The honest split
Choose ClickAstro when
- You want a single bound document to keep, print or hand to family.
- You want it in a language we have not shipped.
- You prefer a one-time purchase with no account to return to.
- You want the traditional jātakam format, in traditional order.
Choose Parasara Jyotish when
- Your questions will keep coming — and you want the chart available to answer them.
- You want the reading to move with your daśā instead of freezing at purchase date.
- You want to see which placements produced a verdict, not just the verdict.
- You want the Jaimini layer — chara kārakas, arudhas, rāśi daśās — that report templates rarely carry.
- You would rather pay once for the tool than per report, per topic.
On length, and why it is a poor proxy for depth
Report packages are often sold by page count, and page count is the easiest thing to inflate. Twelve houses, nine planets, sixteen vargas and a daśā table will generate two hundred pages of prose from templates without a single sentence in it having weighed one factor against another.
The test to apply to any long report — ours included — is simple: find a contradiction and see what the document does with it. A chart that has a strong 10th lord and a badly afflicted 10th house is an ordinary situation, and it should produce an ordinary human sentence about a good career fought for under difficulty. If the report instead prints the confident paragraph for the strong lord on one page and the grim paragraph for the afflicted house forty pages later, without ever noticing that they are about the same thing, then the length was decorative.
That test is why our pages show the signals that fired and mark where they conflict. You should be able to audit the conclusion, not just receive it.
Other ClickAstro alternatives worth knowing

The verdict
ClickAstro is the better artefact. It produces a handsome, comprehensive, keepable document in a wide range of languages, and for people who want astrology in the form their family has always received it, that matters.
Parasara Jyotish is the better instrument. It stays open, it moves with your daśā, it answers the question you have today rather than the one a template guessed a year ago, and it shows its working. Different products for genuinely different habits.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get a PDF from Parasara Jyotish?
Yes — reports can be exported to PDF, so you can keep or print a copy. The difference is that the live version keeps updating as your daśā moves, and you can go back and ask further questions of the same chart.
Is a longer report a better report?
Not by itself. Length usually comes from covering every placement separately. Depth comes from weighing placements against each other, which shortens the output rather than lengthening it. Judge a report by whether it ever resolves a contradiction, not by page count.
Do I have to pay per topic here?
No. The premium unlock covers the reports and the chart-specific Q&A together. There is no per-report or per-minute charge.
Which is better for a marriage proposal being evaluated by family?
If the family wants a document to circulate, a printed report suits the social purpose better. If you want the matching actually reasoned — Navāṁśa 7th, Upapada, two-way Manglik balance, and attraction assessed separately from durability — that is what our five matching engines do.
How we compare, and how to correct us
Every rival feature listed here was checked against that product’s own public pages and free tools on the date shown above. We compare what a visitor can actually see and use without paying — not internal capability, not accuracy of predictions, which no one can measure from outside. Products change, and some of these teams ship quickly; if something below is out of date or wrong, write to us and we will correct the page. We would rather be accurate than flattering.
