Exalted Mars as 9th lord = great fortune. In the 6th = fortune through struggle and obstacles; the native fights to maintain it and Mars gives the energy for the fight.
Mars combust is not a weakness: "Sun and Mars are both Kshatriyas." Fire beside fire grows stronger; Mars near the Sun behaves like the Sun.
A9 in the 12th = fortune tied to giving up, a foreign country, or spiritual generosity.
Lord of AL (Mercury) + lord of A9 (Moon) together = an Arudha-based Rāja-yoga: the world perceives the person as very fortunate/wealthy. With Ketu present: "Ketu will say, what Raj Yoga? This is all Maya." Had it been Mercury + Moon alone it would be a clean auspicious combination.
